Phosphor Tutorial: Drop to Earn
In this Phosphor tutorial, we show you how to Drop to Earn, an exciting new revenue model for creators. With this pre-set template, you can effortlessly turn your digital artworks, photo and video content, or memes into profitable digital collectibles. Phosphor Studio's Drop to Earn recipe is designed for simplicity and ease of use, ensuring that you can start earning from your creations in seconds.
All you need to do is upload your creation, give it a title, and let our simple wizard handle the rest. The choices are pre-set to maximize your earnings:
- Cost Coverage: We cover the network costs, ensuring you receive 100% of the proceeds for an initial period.
- Blockchain Deployment: Your drop will be deployed on Linea or another high-performance, low-cost blockchain network of your choice (we support Base, Optimism, Arbitrum and more).
- Minting Fee: Collectors will pay a fixed fee of 0.000777 ETH plus a small network fee to mint your collectible. Learn more about Phosphor’s fees.
- Availability: Unlimited copies of your collectible will be available to mint for 30 days.
- Mint Page: We automatically create a mint page for your drop, which you can also share as a Farcaster Frame.
This tutorial will guide you through the steps to set up your "Drop to Earn" campaign, making it easy for you to monetize your creations and connect with your audience. Let's get started!
1. On the Phosphor Dashboard, select the recipe called “Drop to Earn”
2. Read or acknowledge the introductory message
3. Add your drop details
- Upload the artwork: JPG, GIF, PNG, MP4 formats are recommended and the file should be less than 50MB
- Choose a title for your collectible
- Add a description to your collectible (optional)
- Provide the wallet address where you wish to receive the earnings from the drop. Don’t have a wallet? Get started with MetaMask.
4. Review the drop information and select the network of your choice
5. Share your drop via link, socials, or QR code
You can choose one or more of the following options:
- Cast in Warpcast: make sure that you are logged in Warpcast before selecting this option. This should automatically create a mint frame for your drop in Warpcast.
- Generate a regular link: you may copy the link to the claim page, download a QR code that leads to this page or copy the link to the page that displays the QR code. The QR code is quite useful to share in real life by displaying it on a mobile device.
- Generate a MetaMask deeplink: This provides the same options as a regular link with the advantage to open the claim page directly in MetaMask mobile, making it easier to connect one’s wallet and claim.
